At NorthStar Church, we have an abiding desire and commitment to reach Acworth and Kennesaw, Georgia, and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Global Outreach is an expansion of our local ministry of evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. There is no better time to engage than right now! Our Philosophy: Our philosophy for missions at NorthStar is to encourage people to "own" a piece of the ministry and catch the vision that we have for them and for people around the world. 

Our Passion: Our passion is twofold. First, we want to share God's plan of salvation with as many people as we can that are starving for hope and love. Second, we want our mission teams to witness and experience what the Holy Spirit can do in their lives to help them grow spiritually. 

Why should you go? We are commanded to go. The great commission states...."go and make disciples of all nations - Matthew 16:19. We train each team for two months prior to each trip. The training helps us grow spiritually and softens our hearts for others. Our missionary partners worldwide state that our teams are the most prepared and have the most tender hearts of any other group they work with throughout the year. As we look back on our experience after we return, we view the actual trip as a "field trip" that included some amazing time of training, learning, bonding and development of life-long friendships. Most people claim they aren't the same after experiencing a mission trip at NorthStar. 

What are the requirements to go? Only one thing...a servant heart like Jesus.

What if I don't want to go over seas? No problem! We have disaster relief stateside and mission trips within the country.
